Our goal, through FNM Nexus, is to create an open and collaborative innovation ecosystem to address the current and future challenges of mobility. We want to be the bridge between brilliant ideas and the market, ready to test new technological products and innovative services to generate a tangible impact on the quality of life for individuals and communities.

The Process

Present Your Innovative Solution

Have you developed an innovative proposal or solution? We invite you to join the FNM Nexus network by registering your profile or applying for a vertical challenge. We are always looking for partners to collaborate with within our focus areas.

Evaluation

Through the materials provided in the application and any follow-up meetings, our team will review the proposed solutions, assessing their innovativeness, sustainability, feasibility, and impact for FNM. With the support of the relevant business unit representatives, we will select the most innovative candidates that align with our various needs and mission.

Collaboration

Selected candidates will be able to initiate a co-innovation phase with FNM: with an incremental and iterative approach, moving through tests and experiments, the goal is to build lasting collaborations for a more inclusive, efficient, and safe mobility.

Focus Areas

Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance

Aiming to enhance and improve infrastructure monitoring services, we are seeking technological solutions for the acquisition and processing of data related to the condition of railway and road infrastructures.

AI and Digitalization for Railway Asset Management

With the goal of automating asset management, we intend to experiment with innovative solutions to map and monitor the condition of the railway line and its components.

Generative AI for Businesses

To support the staff roles within FNM, we aim to experiment with, develop, and adopt new generative AI business tools tailored to specific functions or applicable across all employees.

Blockchain for Mobility

Aiming to develop new business opportunities, we want to identify partners to test blockchain-enabled solutions designed to enhance the customer experience in integrated mobility services.

Employee Management and Wellbeing

To support HR operations and enhance the employee experience, we are looking for new tools for recruitment, onboarding, continuous employee training, and overall workplace wellbeing.

Innovation for Shared Mobility

To provide new and improved services, we are seeking both technological solutions that can enhance public transportation and shared mobility, as well as new partners to develop mobility proposals to integrate into the FNM ecosystem.

Mobility as a Community (MaaC)

Aiming to improve services provided to users, FNM seeks to develop new mobility offerings that address specific needs, promoting the development of communities that share interests and passions.

Environmental Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

In line with the Group's commitment to sustainability, we are looking for solutions that can reduce the environmental impact of FNM and its service users, generating a positive effect on the territory.

Production and Storage of Clean Energy

In line with the Group's commitment to generating and utilizing energy from renewable sources, we are seeking solutions for the production and storage of clean energy.

Safety and Accessibility for Mobility and Public Spaces

Aiming to make FNM’s infrastructure and services more accessible and secure, we are seeking solutions to make mobility services more usable for the entire community, with particular attention to the needs of people with disabilities, vulnerable individuals, and families.

FAQS

Who can join the initiative to propose a solution?

All innovative entities: startups, spin-offs, innovative SMEs, or anyone else looking to innovate, experiment, and provide solutions within the focus areas.

What are the evaluation criteria?

Strength of the company and credibility of the team, business model, innovation of the product or service, feasibility of the proposal, time to implement it, impact on FNM, and scope of the project.

What type of collaboration is FNM willing to undertake with participants in the Program?

FNM aims to identify the most relevant solutions within each focus area to validate through experimentation. The ultimate goal is to evaluate, with the selected innovative entities, the opportunity to establish a collaboration to develop a project that can become part of the FNM Group, based on the objectives and requirements defined at the beginning of the Co-Design phase.

If I have previously collaborated with FNM, can I participate in new opportunities?

Yes, you can resubmit your application if your solution aligns with the areas of interest.

What happens when I submit my proposal?

Once you submit your proposal on the online platform, you will receive a confirmation email. The Innovation team, comprising FNM professionals and industry experts, will conduct an evaluation. Proposals that align best with FNM's objectives will be invited to participate in a one-on-one meeting directly with the team.

How will my personal data be used?

FNM and Skipso will use participants' personal data to contact them if there is a need for a follow-up meeting or for any future communication related to FNM Group's innovation initiatives.
